Every campaign, every message on paper can be a winner, and it is often difficult to judge among different variants, among different options of the same one, which one is the best, the one destined to be most successful. You cannot let perception or chance drive the choice, but you should test it on your audience to see which version will be adopted as the final one.
Here then, theA/B/X testing can be strategic.: we submit to our audience two or more different versions of the same element and evaluate the one that performs best, starting from the very data collected.
Blendee Experiments: A/B/X testing on your Experience Manager
Blendee Experiments adds to the many features already within the Experience Manager and allows for A/B/X testing to be set up within the configuration of an experience itself. This all translates into the ability to test different elements already within a campaign without it being stopped, modified and restarted.
Imagine, for example, that we want to test, within an abandoned shopping cart experience, two different emails and two different behavioral messages. With Blendee’s Experiments, it is possible to insert the two variants of both elements within the experience: it will be the platform itself that, once the test is completed, will keep the experience active with the elements found to be the best performing.
Variants of the same element (e.g., a newsletter template) but not only: Experiments allows you to compare and test different channels as well. So let’s imagine, in our example, that we can compare not only two email templates but also an email sending with an SMS sending in order to detect the most effective channel on which to direct our campaign. A/B/X testing: two modes for greater effectiveness
Blendee’s Experiments allows the user to select two different modes of test execution: automatic mode and manual mode.
If, in the case of the automatic mode, it is sufficient only to select the metric for which to judge one element/channel to perform better than another, in the manual mode it is allowed to go into more detail and evaluate different options such as:
- accuracy of the test;
- Number of users involved;
- time duration;
- waiting time before evaluation of results.
Data and information gathered during testing are then made available in the statistics section where it will not only be possible to view the winner but also data for individual segments.
